We started Merridale after ten years inside certified businesses, on the wrong end of audits that went badly because nobody could find the current version of anything. We sell no software and resell none. We write your policies, get them approved by someone allowed to approve them, and sit with you the morning the assessor arrives.

Most clients come to us after a first certification, when the documents written for the audit have quietly stopped matching how the business runs. That gap is what costs you a finding. We fix it by talking to the people doing the work, then keep it current on a schedule you can see. Two of us are former lead auditors.

Kestrelworks was built on a factory floor, not in a boardroom. Our first customer was a 40-person aerospace machine shop that had twice failed a surveillance audit on document control. We are deliberately narrow: quality systems for people who make physical things. Need a GRC platform for a software company? We are the wrong tool and we will say so.

We optimise for the week before a registrar visit. Every controlled document has one current version and a visible approver, every CAPA has an owner and a date, and the audit schedule prints. We do not charge per user, because on a shop floor the people who need to read a work instruction are the whole plant.
