Who we are, and agreeing to these terms
These Terms govern your use of policyandcompliance.com and the forms, emails, reports and checklists it provides. The site is published by AllyMatter Inc, 651 N Broad St, Suite 201, Middletown, DE 19709, United States ("we", "us"). AllyMatter Inc also makes one of the tools listed in the directory; that relationship is disclosed on the pages where it applies and explained on the methodology page.
By using the site you agree to these Terms, to our Acceptable Use Policy, and to the way we handle data described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Where a form asks you to tick a box agreeing to these Terms, we keep the date and the version you agreed to.
What this site is
policyandcompliance.com explains standards, regulations and required documents, and lists firms that work with them. It is a reference and a directory. It is not legal, audit, tax or professional advice, and reading it creates no professional relationship between you and us.
Accuracy, and its limits
Pages are compiled from linked sources, and each record shows how far it has been checked, and when. Rules change, agencies move pages, and errors happen. The materials here are for general information only and are not comprehensive. We do not warrant that anything here is accurate, complete or current, or make any representation about the results of relying on it. Read the linked source, then decide. If you find something wrong, tell us at [email protected] and we will check it against the source and fix it.
Listings and firms
A listing is not a recommendation, an endorsement or a warranty about a firm. Verified means the record was checked against our verification standard, including with the firm itself, on the date shown. Website checked means we read the firm's own website on the date shown, nothing more. We are not a party to any engagement you enter with a firm you find here, and we take no share of any fee.
Firm and consultant profiles are written and paid for by the firm or consultant. We are responsible for accuracy only for the items a profile marks as checked, on the date shown. Everything else on a profile, including services, experience, credentials, pricing, availability and contact details, is supplied by the firm or consultant. A profile is not a recommendation. Confirm anything that matters to your decision with them directly.
Advertising and paid placements
Each page has one primary spot, a labeled Sponsored placement near the top. Paying for it changes nothing else on the page. The publisher's own tool takes the primary spot on pages for the frameworks it supports, at no charge, and is labeled every time. Paid consultant listings, consultant strips and press releases are labeled too. Money buys a labeled slot, never a position, a ranking or a match. See the methodology page.
We screen paid material before we accept it. If we decide not to run something you have paid for, we refund you. Payments are taken through a payment link we send; we never see or store your full card details.
What you send us
You keep ownership of what you send us to publish, such as a press release, an article, profile text or a correction. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, copy, publish, display, format and edit it for length and house style, and to distribute it on this site and in our emails, for as long as it is published. You can ask us to take it down at any time; paid material stays up for the period paid for unless you ask otherwise. You confirm that you have the right to send it, that it is accurate, and that publishing it will not infringe anyone's rights or break any law.
Using our content
Quote us, link to us, and take screenshots. Please credit the page you took it from. The content, data and design of the site are owned by or licensed to AllyMatter Inc and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not:
- bulk-copy the directory, the framework data or the obligations data, or mirror the site on another server, for a competing or commercial service;
- remove copyright or other proprietary notices from anything on the site;
- crawl or scrape the site in a way that ignores robots.txt or puts load on it;
- use the site to send unsolicited advertising or spam, including to firms or people listed in the directory;
- collect personal information about other people from the site without their consent; or
- use the site in a way that breaks the law, infringes anyone's rights, or disrupts the site or the services behind it.

Third-party links
Links to agencies, registers and firms are provided so you can check the source. We have not reviewed every linked site, we do not control them, and a link is not an endorsement. Use linked sites at your own risk and under their own terms.
No warranties
The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, AllyMatter Inc makes no warranties, express or implied, and disclaims all others, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither AllyMatter Inc nor its suppliers are liable for any loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site, or any report, checklist or email we send, or from decisions taken on the strength of them, including missed obligations, failed audits or contracts lost, even if we were told such loss was possible. This includes consequential and indirect loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity, savings or reputation, and loss or corruption of data, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute or otherwise. Your obligations are yours.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limits on implied warranties or on liability for consequential or incidental damages, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
Suspension and removal
If you break these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, we may block your access to the site or its forms, remove what you sent us, or end a listing, profile or placement, and where the law requires it we may report the matter to the authorities.
Changes
We may change these Terms. Changes take effect when published here, and the date at the top of this page changes with them. If a change affects you, the consent box asks you again on your next visit.
Severance
If any part of these Terms is void or unenforceable, that part is severed to the extent it is void or unenforceable, and the rest of these Terms remains in force.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delaware.
